ArtEvol 2026

The London Art Collective (LAC) is proud to announce the Open Call for “ArtEvol 2026: A View from Everywhere”, the sixth edition of its annual international contemporary art exhibition. The exhibition will take place at Saatchi Gallery, London, from 2 to 9 October 2026. The exhibition invites artists from around the world to jointly explore how different “perspectives” shape our understanding of the world.

This year’s exhibition, “ArtEvol 2026: A View from Everywhere”, invites artists from around the world to respond to the theme of perspective, exploring how different cultural backgrounds, lived experiences and social contexts shape the ways we understand the world, and to foster exchange and interaction across geography, culture and identity through contemporary art.

“ArtEvol 2026: A View from Everywhere” does not seek a single, unified answer. It understands perspective as a continuously evolving process—each way of seeing is influenced by personal cultural backgrounds, lived experiences and other factors, and continues to evolve through ongoing exchanges of ideas and dialogue. Therefore, the exhibition focuses on how these perspectives respond to and influence one another within the same space, generating new understandings through exchange: when numerous partial perspectives come together, what new landscapes might become visible? Artists from diverse backgrounds will respond to contemporary society through different artistic practices and distinctive visual languages, offering diverse and open-ended responses.

“ArtEvol 2026: A View from Everywhere” is curated by Nelson Qin, organised by the London Art Collective (LAC), and selected by an international jury composed of curators, artists, critics and scholars. The exhibition will focus on artistic practices that respond to this year’s curatorial theme while reflecting independent creative thinking, with the aim of building an open, diverse and continuously evolving exhibition space through the exchange and response of different perspectives.
