My practice centres on ideas of place, filtered through a lens of memory, idealism and actuality. I reflect on how we perceive and create our environments, unconsciously blurring self with scene. By using structure and order in the painting process I bring focus to internal worlds, creating scenes that exist between reality and fantasy.
