Young Artist Project
This work adopts unique lenticular imaging technology and is completed through a "secondary creation" process. The creative materials are derived from photographs taken by the artist in different time and space contexts, with consistent or similar perceptual perspectives. Finally, the work presents a picture with both a sense of hierarchy and a unique visual experience through technical means.
I am Jiahe Sui, currently studying at CITY & LONDON FREEMEN’S SCHOOL in London, UK. I have always held a deep passion for photography and equestrianism. Equestrian endurance racing is a highly niche sport, and I hope to promote it by capturing the charm of this sport from the perspective of equestrian athletes through photography.
Horses have been an indispensable part of my life since I was a child—no words can truly capture how much I adore them. When I engage in photography, I experience a brand-new feeling, which is different from the connection I build with horses when I compete as an equestrian endurance athlete: while taking photos, I pay close attention to the horses’subtle movements and mood changes, allowing myself to sink into their tranquil world; In competitions, what I feel more acutely is my horse’s tension, excitement, or weariness.
