Work Description

This collection comprises minimalist paintings characterised by their elegant use of simple lines and patterns. Drawing upon the principles of Gestalt psychology, it is well-known that identical graphics with consistent spacing have the ability to visually converge. Within this series of simple graphics, we encounter not only hierarchical and progressively evolving spatial forms but also a dynamic interplay. Depending on the viewer's vantage point and distance, various elements emerge, such as triangular divisions, gracefully curved lines, sudden protrusions resulting from intersecting horizontal lines, discrete cubes, clusters of smaller cubes with deeper hues beneath overlapping layers, and segmented quadrangular pyramids. Interpreting these nuances requires active engagement and contemplation from the audience.
