Work Description

Pigeon (shitting) is a screenprint, the subject of which was observed in real life. Ashton thinks she made this print to help her deal with the constant omnipresent fear of being shat on. There's a railway bridge near her flat that she walks under sometimes multiple times a day, each time keeping an eye on the pigeons above in the hope that she can dodge the falling guano. The print is basically saying, this is the reality of living in London; co-existing with incontinent birds.
